This is an amazing 1960s bright screened silk chiffon dress in a wonderful rich green with bits of pinks and purples and a pretty gold thread worked through it as well. Constructed of a a gorgeous chiffon and then lined with silks it weighs very little and feels fantastic when on. The skirt flows out over a more fitted lining in green silk and has an interesting visual effect around the hem created by the print. The bands of color and flowers that circle the lower hem is spectacular! The waist nips in and you can cinch it further with the fabric tie belt. The bodice is scooped and has a pretty feminine ruffle all around. The sleeves mirror the print at the hem and have a wonderful poofed effect with a ruffle at each cuff to mirror the neckline. It is just gorgeous! Excellent condition and appears to have been worn little if at all.
